These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the M.E.R.C.Y INT LLC website and booking services. By using this website or submitting a booking request, you agree to be bound by these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use this website or our services.
1. About Our Services
M.E.R.C.Y INT LLC is a licensed common carrier by motor vehicle authorized to operate across all cities and counties in the State of Alabama (intrastate traffic only). All services are prearranged and provided on an advance-booking basis. We do not provide on-demand or hail transportation.
2. Use of This Website
You may use this website only for lawful purposes related to booking, inquiring about, or learning about M.E.R.C.Y INT transportation services. You agree not to submit false or misleading booking information, attempt to interfere with the site’s operation, or use this site for any unauthorized commercial purpose.
3. Booking Agreement
When you submit a booking request through this website, you are entering into a service agreement with M.E.R.C.Y INT LLC. You agree that:
- All provided information is accurate and complete.
- All services are prearranged and subject to availability and carrier confirmation.
- A 5-minute grace period applies before waiting time charges begin.
- Waiting time is billed at $10 per 10 minutes ($60 per hour) upon your request for the vehicle to hold.
- Additional stops requested during service will be billed at posted rates.
- All fares are payable in advance unless a billing account has been established.
4. Payment & Charges
By completing a booking, you authorize M.E.R.C.Y INT LLC to charge your selected payment method for all applicable service fees, including but not limited to: base fare, mileage charges, waiting time, additional stops, pet fees, cleaning fees, and any necessary post-trip adjustments.
All payments are final and non-refundable except as described in our Cancellation Policy. Unauthorized chargebacks will be disputed with supporting documentation including booking records, GPS data, and booking agreement acceptance records.
5. Vehicle Policies
All passengers agree to abide by vehicle policies, including:
- No alcohol or open containers at any time.
- Service animals ride free. A $10 fee applies for domestic pets.
- No articles that may cause harm or damage to passengers or equipment.
- Conduct must not be objectionable or disruptive to other passengers.
M.E.R.C.Y INT LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any person whose conduct violates these policies, and to charge applicable fees for cleaning or damage caused during service.
6. Companion Aid Services
Companion Aid rides include a M.E.R.C.Y INT provided caregiver who accompanies the client throughout the trip. This service is strictly 1 caregiver + 1 client, private vehicle only. Companion Aid rides cannot be combined with other service types. These services are non-medical in nature and do not constitute licensed medical care, nursing services, or clinical assistance.
7. Limitation of Liability
M.E.R.C.Y INT LLC will not be liable for loss or damage to passengers’ personal belongings unless directly caused by the carrier, and liability will be limited to the reasonable value thereof. We are not responsible for contraband, illegal items, or items prohibited by these terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Use and all disputes arising from use of this website or our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Use of this website constitutes your consent to the jurisdiction of Alabama courts.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the revised effective date. Continued use of this website or our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
